WEST CHESTER, Ohio -- Officers are investigating Keehner Park after they said a body was found there Thursday night.
Butler County Coroner Lisa Mannix identified the man as 28-year-old Eric Pefley of West Chester. Pefley died at about 8 p.m. Thursday, according to the coroner's report.
Pefley was reported missing Feb. 5, officials said.
Police processed the scene and brought in a laser-mapping system to investigate with the assistance of the canine unit.
The cause of death was not immediately known.
The 911 caller who reported finding the body told a dispatcher it was located near the picnic area in the park.
