CINCINNATI – The season’s first snow knocked out power to 1,100 Duke Energy customers across Greater Cincinnati Sunday morning.

Damage to one power line just off the I-75 Glendale-Milford exit cut off 497 customers.

Rick Jones of Tri-Weh Water Damage Restoration said they were sending of crews out to fix frozen pipes, even as they power and heat to their own business.

Customers looking to do some shopping at area stores Sunday morning were surprised to find them closed.

"I came here to get some gas and stuff like that but since it's not open, I'll just have to keep moving and go to the next place," Tony Boulding said.

Sunday school was open, but when Debra Jackson stopped to pick up some supplies before class, she found the store was closed.
