Spring officially began at 5:24 p.m. and skies stay mostly clear overnight with lows falling to the mid to upper 20s which means it'll be chilly to start the day. Thankfully, the wind will come from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph and that'll limit frost development. There will still be potential for that in sheltered valleys.

From there we look for some warmer weather, but also expect some wet weather as well. Tuesday is going to be a pleasant day. We'll start at 28° and warm to 55°. After sunshine to start the day, clouds will slowly build into the afternoon. We will be dry for a majority of the day, but by 5 to 6 p.m. we will have an opening for a few isolated showers. The better chances will be after 8 to 9 p.m. into the overnight hours. From there, we hold onto a chance for rain every day through early next week.

Friday radar
Heavy rain possible Friday, March 24

Scattered showers will be around on Wednesday and Thursday. The warmest day of the week will be Thursday with a high near 70.
Friday will be the wettest day of the week and that could lead to some flooding. Rainfall totals through the evening Friday could be between 2 to 4 inches. Stay alert and we will give you the 9 First Warning if anything changes.
