This political ad has a message that liberal and conservative individuals can probably appreciate -- if not relate to.
"Please re-elect Gerald. Please," Charlyn Daugherty begs in a campaign ad for her husband's re-election as Travis County (Texas) Commissioner.

"Gerald really doesn't have any hobbies," she says at the beginning of the video. Over the next 60 seconds, Gerald Daugherty can be heard droning on and on about figures, statistics and code violations. The ad shows his apparent knowledge and interest in county issues -- much to his wife's dismay.
"Is he always like this?" a friend asks her as Gerald talks another houseguest's ear off.
The ad ends with Gerald telling his wife "you know, I think I like helping around the house here." The look of pure exasperation on Charlyn's face says it all.
