CINCINNATI – A woman’s search for the men who helped her daughter is going viral after they saved her from the 40-vehicle pileup on I-74 Tuesday.

Brittany Herth’s car collided with two others, spun 180 degrees and hit a wall during the pileup, her mom, Bev Cochran, wrote in a Facebook post that has been shared more than 12,000 times in a day.

PLEASE SHARE this post...We're looking for the men that likely saved our daughters life.. and many others!!! Brittany...

Two men stopped and helped Herth get her car out and guided her away through the snow just before five semis crashed into the spot where she had been, Cochran wrote.

After helping Herth, the men left.

“I don’t know where he went,” Herth said Tuesday. “He made sure they all stopped. As soon as everything was OK… he went over the median and he left.”

Cochran is hoping her Facebook search will track down the men so they can thank them.
