COVINGTON, Ky. — All westbound lanes of Interstate 275 in Kenton County reopened Thursday hours after a semi-truck spilled fuel in the early morning.
Dispatchers said the spill took place around 2 a.m. near exit 80 for KY-17/Madison Pike in Northern Kentucky. Those lanes remained closed throughout the night and into the morning rush hour as crews cleaned up the incident.
The road reopened at 8 a.m. Traffic was backed up into neighboring Campbell County due to the incident.
