CINCINNATI -- Good news, Greater Cincinnati drivers: There will be no more lane closures on the Brent Spence Bridge. (Well, for now at least.)
The 2017 maintenance project is complete, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said in a news release Thursday.
The project, which began in June, caused periodic lane closures while crews replaced the concrete surface, upgraded the lighting and drainage and repaired steelwork.
“The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the drivers of Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati for their patience throughout the course of this project,” the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said in statement.
