WILMINGTON, Ky. -- A man dozed off while driving on Interstate 71 in Clinton County, leading to a two-vehicle crash that killed one person, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
Zachary Craft, 18, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, was headed north when he fell asleep and went off the side of the road, OSHP said.
Craft overcorrected and sideswiped a trailer hitched to Robert O'Donnell's pickup truck, troopers said. The collision caused O'Donnell's vehicle to go off the road and overturn, OSHP said.

Scott Bunting, one of O'Donnell's passengers, died at the scene. Another of his passengers was taken by medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital and had serious injuries, OSHP said. Craft and O'Donnell were taken to Clinton Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
At this point, troopers don't suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
Northbound I-71 was closed near state Route 73 while OSHP investigated.
