In an unfortunately literal collision of cultures, a car crashed into an Amish horse-drawn buggy on State Route 136 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Both vehicles had been traveling South on the highway, according to authorities, when the car swerved and hit the buggy. The three people in the buggy were injured and one of them was airlifted to a nearby hospital, a patrol officer said.
The horse was taken home, and authorities were not sure if it had been injured.
No charges had been filed by midnight Wednesday.
