An Advent calendar is a great way to celebrate the anticipation of the holiday season. While traditional Advent calendars have usually been filled with small chocolate or trinkets, in recent years, Advent calendars offering everything frombooze to dog treats for your canine companion have become all the rage.

Last year, Reese’s lovers were able to snag an Advent calendar filled with the brand’s signature peanut butter and chocolate candies. This year, the appropriately dubbed Hershey’s Reese’s Lovers Holiday Advent Calendar is back, and it comes with 24 days worth of treats, including both Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Miniatures and Reese’s Pieces. It’s available onTarget.com for $5.99.

“Countdown to Christmas with this sweet REESE’s advent calendar,” reads the product description. “24 days of REESE’s Christmas fun with a word search on the back!”

Instagram user @markie_devo also spotted the calendar at their local Rite Aid along with the brand’s new Peanut Butter Mystery Shapes and returning holiday items Reese’s Peanut Butter Bells and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures:

So many ways to enjoy your favorite chocolate and peanut butter candy this holiday season! When it comes to this classic candy, I’ll eat it in whatever form it’s offered.

Looking for more unique Advent calendars to try out this year? Continuing the hard seltzer craze that really caught on this past summer, the hard seltzer Advent calendar from Give Them Beer includes 12 of the top-rated hard seltzers from 2019, including seltzers from Truly, Henry’s and White Claw.

The festive doors bear holiday greetings like “Christmas Cheer Inside” and “Ho Ho Hold My Seltzer.” It’s priced at $59. It can be shipped to most states within the United States for $15 (see exceptions here).  Because they contain alcoholic beverages, the calendar must be ordered by someone aged 21 or up, and an adult signature is also required upon delivery.

You don’t have to stick with hard seltzer, of course. Many other Advent calendars have made their way into stores, so you can choose how you count down to Christmas. You can find sparkling wine Advent calendars, German beer countdowns and all sorts of other treats for whatever your taste! And if you prefer to stay away from edible items, you can find many creative versions for the whole family, from Harry Potter Lego calendars to ones featuring Disney children’s books.

Are you going to get a special Advent calendar this holiday season? Cheers to the holidays!
