Holiday travel is like a trip to the dentist — unpleasant, but something you have to do. And holiday AIR travel is more like a root canal — just painful.
Then, when the weather delays or cancels your flight, it makes matters worse.
So we decided to see which airports are the worst when it comes to flight delays during holiday travel.
For our list, we looked at flights from the Monday before Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve for the last five years.
We only included major airports with at least 10,000 flights during that time since these are the airports most of us are likely to use over the holidays.
The 25 major airports found in the video above still fared much better than the smaller ones.
