High School Insider with Mike Dyer Podcast: State football finals are here

CINCINNATI – La Salle and St. Xavier - two Greater Catholic League South division teams on the same street - compete for respective state football finals this week in Columbus.

WCPO sports anchor Keenan Singleton, TriStateFootball.com’s Greg Shoemaker and WCPO.com's Mike Dyer discuss the upcoming Divisions I and II state finals at Ohio Stadium. This is the first time two schools on the same street are competing for state football finals in the same year.

There is also discussion about Beechwood's 1A state final in Bowling Green, Ky., on Friday night.

Plus, they take a glimpse into the area basketball scene as opening weekend for the boys' teams takes place this weekend.
