Area high school soccer players named to All-America teams

CINCINNATI -- Multiple area high school soccer players were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America Teams Monday.

Loveland senior defender Rachel Ernst, Cincinnati Country Day senior midfielder Olivia Brown and McNicholas senior midfielder Sophie Gorman were among 10 Ohio players on the girls' team. Gorman was previously named an All-American too. She was named the Division III state player of the year by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.

Summit Country Day senior midfielder Cameron Belle was named to the boys’ team. He was one of 10 Ohio players on the team.

Belle helped to lead Summit Country Day (21-1-1) to its second straight Division III state title in November. He had three goals and an assist in a 9-1 win over Kidron Central Christian in Columbus.

Belle was also named the Division III state player of the year by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.
