ST. BERNARD, Ohio -- Roger Bacon’s Week 5 football game against visiting Badin has been moved to the University of Cincinnati’s Sheakley Athletics Center, Roger Bacon athletic director Steve Rossi told WCPO.com.

Bron Bacevich Stadium is expected to stand idle for several weeks after officials clean up the field due to flooding damage in the St. Bernard area this past weekend.

Roger Bacon (1-0) plays at Western Hills (0-1) tonight and the Week 3 home game against Indian Hill has already been moved to St. Xavier at 7 p.m. Sept. 9.

The Oct. 7 home game against Chaminade Julienne has been moved to St. X, Rossi said.

The final scheduled home game Oct. 21 against Fenwick is still to be determined but Spartans coach Mike Blaut said new turf is expected to be installed by that time at the stadium, which was built in 1954.
