CINCINNATI -- Vontaze Burfict, the Bengals fine machine, was caught on video appearing to make an obscene gesture to fans during Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Burfict made the gesture with both hands.

“I have not seen it,” coach Marvin Lewis said. “I have not seen what occurred, or if he made the gesture, who it was to.”

Lewis then made light of it.

“It might have been at me,” he said. “Get in line after yesterday.”

This video shows the gesture in question:

Lewis has been pleased with Burfict’s play. Burfict finished with 13 tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry.

“I expect a lot out of Vontaze,” Lewis said. “We can get more, and I think he’s capable of delivering it.”
