CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert will make his 2016 season debut Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Eifert had been out with an ankle injury he suffered during his first Pro Bowl last season. It required surgery May 25. He didn’t begin jogging until Aug. 25. Then he hurt his back in practice Oct. 3.

"Physically, I feel good, and mentally, I've been with this offense long enough to where I didn't just forget the plays not practicing," he told ESPN. "Obviously there are some things I need to brush up on ... but I feel good about where I'm at."
Last year, Eifert was the team's top scorer. For a stretch of time, he led the league in TE touchdowns.
