CINCINNATI – The Steelers assistant coach who pulled a Bengals player's hair during their playoff game says the NFL has rescinded his $10,000 fine.

Offensive line coach Mike Munchak was fined for pulling safety Reggie Nelson's dreadlocks at the end of a play – after Nelson ran onto the Steelers sideline pursuing running back Jordan Todman.

Munchak told a Houston Chronicle reporter that his fine was "rescinded after reviewing the video.” The  league not confirmed that.

The NFL levied several fines and penalties after the Steelers' 18-16 win, with Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict getting the most severe punishment  - a three-game suspension following his helmet hit on receiver Antonio Brown. Vontaze lost his appeal and will have to sit out the first three games next fall at the cost of $502,941 of his 2016 base salary.

Bengals cornerback Adam Jones, fined $28,940 for making contact with an official, had his fine reduced to $12,500 on appeal.

Steelers assistant Joey Porter was fined $10,000 for coming out  on the field after Burfict's hit on Brown.
