FC Cincinnati is hosting English Premier League club Crystal Palace at 7 p.m. Gates open at 5:30.
Earlier this week, FC Cincinnati general manager/president Jeff Berding said the club was aiming for 35,000 fans in the nearly 45,000-seat Nippert Stadium.
It's guaranteed to be a record crowd for FC Cincinnati, which holds the United Soccer League single-game attendance record at 23,375. The Crystal Palace Eagles play in a 26,000-seat stadium that fills to near capacity on a regular basis.
