We now know that the Miami University Redhawks will face the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the St. Petersburg Bowl on Dec. 26.

Ragland was out for the team's first six games with a torn ACL. When he returned mid-October, the team turned around with an unprecedented six straight wins to become the first Football Bowl Subdivision team to start 0-6 and finish 6-6.
The St. Petersburg Bowl is the Redhawks' first bowl appearance in six years. Just three years ago the team went 0-12 and 0-8 in the Mid-American Conference.
