CINCINNATI — For those looking to escape the real world and find a little Halloween fun this season, one bar in Walnut Hills promises plenty of spooky chills this Fall.

Jacob Trevino has transformed his bar, The Video Archive, located at 965 E. McMillan St., into Spooky Spooky Bang Bang for Halloween.

"Spooky Spooky Bang Bang isn't just a bar experience, it's a whole show," said Trevino. "So, the idea is you have shipwrecked on this island with a bunch of Halloween crates."

For an hour-and-a-half, guests to Spooky Spooky Bang Bang are immersed in a storyline that involves a sea witch trying to steal their Halloween spirit. The experience features actors, music, film and specially crafted cocktails for tasting.

"We give you that Halloween spirit through amazing, creative cocktails," Trevino said.

Those cocktails include the Shrunken Pumpkin made with Pusser Rum, pumpkin spice-infused coconut puree, pineapple, lime and Frangelico foam. Other drinks on the menu incorporate apples, candy corn and caramel.

"For the most part it is a good time with really exotic Tiki drinks that are centered around things we are really familiar with," Trevino said.

Performances of the Spooky Spooky Bang Bang experience take place twice nightly Wednesdays through Saturdays through Halloween. Seating to the ticketed event is limited to 10 guests per show.

"By doing small audiences we can really make this special for each group that comes in," Trevino said. "I think we are trying to create even more experiences, because time for us is so valuable and that we want people when they are going out, we want them to not just go out, not just ... we want it to feel very special."
