WILMINGTON, Ohio – A passenger was ejected and killed when a SUV went off the road and overturned in Wilmington Sunday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The victim was identified as Janson Nace, 27, of Wilmington. Another passenger who was ejected, Olivia Murray, 26, of Clarksville, is in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital. Nace and Murray were not wearing seatbelts, according to a news release.

The accident happened at 10:29 a.m. on Airborne Road near SR 134.

A 2003 Mercury Mountaineer carrying six people, including three juveniles, was going northeast on Airborne Road when it went left of center, overcorrected to the right and overturned, according to the highway patrol’s preliminary investigation.

Nace was pronounced dead at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
