DAYTON, Ohio -- Nothing is more heartwarming during the holidays than a personalized gift -- one that shows the recipient that you really, truly thought of them and their unique needs.
Ohio State University student D.J. Sommers's parents have purchased small gifts for their younger children's teachers every year, but they decided to go the extra mile in 2017 by gifting bottles of white wine with personalized labels bearing their younger son's face and a truly warm-and-fuzzy message.
My parents always get our elementary school teachers a present around Christmas. Typically something small like a candle or flower to say thank you. This year they got them bottles of wine & replaced the labels with their own with my brother on them... Happy holidays pic.twitter.com/hErPgrjX44

The boy in question, 14-year-old Jake, has a schoolwide reputation as a clown, his mother, Mary, told Buzzfeed News.
"(The teachers) all thought it was hilarious," she said.
On behalf of every teacher frazzled by the end of the fall semester and preparing for the spring over break, we'll toast to that.
