YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Police are looking for a missing woman who has dementia, the Youngstown Police Department said Monday.

Ruby Lee Hopson, 77, drove away from her home on Detroit Street in Youngstown at 11 p.m. Sunday and was heading to her daughter’s home in New Castle, Pennsylvania.

Hopson called her daughter from Baltimore, Maryland but never made it to Pennsylvania, police said. Authorities believe she could be driving on westbound Interstate 70 toward Pennsylvania and are concerned for her safety.

Hopson is a Black woman, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 162 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

She is driving a black 2014 Chevrolet Cruze with Ohio plate number HLW6505.

Anyone who sees Hopson or her car should call 911 or 1-866-693-9171.
