XENIA, Ohio (AP) — Ohio authorities have begun an investigation after human remains were found in a nature preserve.
Capt. Sean Magoteaux is with the Greene County Sheriff's Office. He tells the Dayton Daily News that mushroom hunters found the remains Friday afternoon in Glen Helen Nature Preserve in southwestern Ohio.
Magoteaux says an autopsy is needed to determine whether the body is that of a man or a woman.
The newspaper says search dogs were brought to the nature preserve in February to look for a missing 26-year-old man known to frequent the area.
