COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Attorney General Mike DeWine has, for a third time, rejected one group's effort to get a medical marijuana question on Ohio's ballot.
DeWine said Friday he found at least five defects in the latest constitutional amendment proposed by the group Ohio Medical Cannabis Care LLC.
He says the age for a medical patient to be considered "qualified" under the measure was listed as 21 in the summary and 18 in the amendment's full text.
His office found the summary and full text contained other inconsistent statements. It concerned what information collected by the proposed Ohio Medical Cannabis Commission would be shared and with whom, what signs on medical marijuana dispensaries could look like and exactly what would constitute "medical use" of cannabis.
DeWine's earlier rejections were in July and October.
