Elderly man missing from near Toledo

GENOA, Ohio -- An 87-year-old man who suffers from dementia and diabetes is missing from his northwest Ohio home.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, Federico Trejo left his home in Genoa, Ohio at about 11:20 a.m. Monday and didn't return.

He was last seen on Ohio Route 20 in Woodville, Ohio.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office issued a statewide endangered missing adult alert for Trejo shortly after midnight Monday.

Trejo is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a tan jacket, red, white and blue flannel shirt, dark slacks and black dress shoes.

Trejo might be in a maroon 2012 Chrysler 300 with Ohio license plate AR20FD.
