Missing Cincinnati man found dead, submerged in Lake Cumberland

Police recovered the body of a missing Cincinnati man from Lake Cumberland Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release from the Russell County Sheriff’s Department.

Ronald Marshall, 60, was reported missing Tuesday. According to the release, family members told the sheriff’s department that they had not heard from Marshall since Nov. 12.

Local authorities conducted a ground and air search that began Tuesday and lasted into Wednesday afternoon.

Divers discovered Marshall’s truck submerged in Lake Cumberland with Marshall inside at around 4:45 p.m.

Russell County Coroner Mike Reynolds will conduct an autopsy to determine Marshall’s cause of death, according to Russell County Sheriff’s Department, and the investigation into his disappearance is ongoing.
