WILLIAMSTOWN, Ky. -- Williamstown, Kentucky police spent a late Friday night fishing an apparently abandoned -- and possibly stolen -- van out of Williamstown Lake.
The silver Dodge Caravan hit the water in what a neighbor described as a "high impact" plunge around 10:30 p.m., according to authorities. It appeared to have been pushed off of a boat ramp.
When divers retrieved the van, they discovered that no one had been inside at the time of the plunge and that the vehicle did not have either a front or a back license plate, suggesting that it may have been stolen.
