DAYTON, Ohio — The two inmates who escaped the Fayette County Jail over the weekend were reportedly caught in Dayton, Ohio.

According to the Dayton Daily News, Fayette County Sheriff Joey Laughlin has heard the escapees, Chadwick Heath and Michael Roberts, had been apprehended by the Ohio city’s police department. Jail staff noticed the two had gone missing during a head count early Saturday morning.

The Connersville, Indiana jail is about 60 miles west of Dayton.

Heath is charged with four counts of dealing in a narcotic drug, maintaining a common nuisance and visiting a common nuisance. Roberts is charged with burglary and two counts of theft.

Someone who previously employed Roberts said he noticed his truck was missing Sunday morning. Roberts previously stole from the man, he told the sheriff's department. The truck, a 2015 white Ford F350 dual wheel utility truck, was located Sunday night in Dayton, Ohio. It wasn't damaged, and the keys were left inside.

Heath’s mother and brother face criminal charges in connection with the men’s escape, the Dayton Daily News reported.
