METAMORA, Ind. – A 19-year-old Brookville man died from injuries he sustained in a crash Wednesday.

Roger J. Clontz was driving a 2001 Honda Civic westbound on US-52 when a 2004 Ford Explorer driven by 43-year-old Amanda T. Boyd crossed the centerline while rounding a curve, according to Indiana State Police. The two vehicles collided head-on.

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office pronounced Clontz dead at the scene.

Police closed the road for about three hours for the investigation, which is still ongoing.
