FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana State Police are investigating a Franklin County crash that killed a Cincinnati man Friday afternoon.
Investigators said Daniel Cottingham, 58, was traveling eastbound on State Road 252 near Heard Road around 4:00 p.m. when his motorcycle crossed into the westbound lane, hitting a truck pulling a camper trailer.
Cottingham, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Toxicology tests are pending, but investigators said alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the crash. The Indiana State Police-Versailles post is investigating.
