METAMORA TOWNSHIP, Ind. -- A body has been found outside of Metamora Township, not far from where a missing Cincinnati woman's car was found earlier this week.
Therese Barrett, 61, of Cincinnati's west side, has been missing since May 9. On May 10, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office located Barrett's blue 2013 Hyundai Sonata abandoned off U.S. 52 on Standard Materials Road.
Law enforcement officials from multiple agencies searched the area Monday, but they didn't find anything.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office confirmed a death investigation was underway Friday on U.S. 52 but couldn't say when the body was found or the person's identity.
