UNION, Ky. -- Holy guacamole, a local Chipotle will have something like a drive-thru!
Chipotle Mexican Grill at 9039 US-42 will debut its “Chipotlanes” at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. The restaurant will be the first in Kentucky to have a Chipotlanes, which are essentially pickup lanes for mobile orders.
Chipotlanes are not like traditional drive-thrus. Customers who place orders online will be able to drive through the lane to pick up their meal, but there is no menu or speaker to place an order.
