MASON COUNTY, Ky. -- Mason County schools are closed Monday due to high water and flooded roads.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon made it to the Tri-State this weekend and left record-breaking rainfall - up to 8 inches in some areas, less than 2 inches in others.

Nearby Augusta in Bracken County received 3.70'' of rainfall over the weekend.
