NEWPORT, Ky. -- A new Burlington store will replace the existing location in Latonia, according to spokesperson Casey Miller.
The new store will open this fall at 1301 Monmouth Street in the Newport Plaza. The space formerly housed Kmart and now ALDI occupies part of the site.
The new store will replace Burlington’s existing location at 4293 Winston Avenue Suite 2 in Latonia. The new Newport location will be more than 39,000 square feet.
The closure of the Latonia location means the strip along Winston Avenue will be almost vacant.
It’s unclear when the Burlington in Latonia will close.
