NAPOLEON, Ind. – A Greensburg man was killed in a crash in Ripley County Sunday afternoon, according to Indiana State Police.
William Minch Jr., 30, was killed after the 1998 Dodge minivan he was driving crossed the centerline on US-421 near County Road 750 and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer driving the other way, troopers said in a news release.
Investigators couldn’t immediately say why Minch’s minivan crossed the centerline.
The Ripley County Coroner’s Office pronounced Minch dead at the scene.
US-421 was closed for more than three hours for the investigation and cleanup, troopers said.
