AURORA, Ind. -- Indiana State Police Wednesday arrested an Aurora man whom they believe seriously injured two others in a fight outside a Sunman, Indiana bar.
Andrew Ballard, 29, was charged with battery with serious bodily injury after a three-month investigation into the June 11 altercation outside Wippel's Tavern.
Both of the men police say were harmed by Ballard sustained head injuries in the early morning fight; one of them was transferred from Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville, Indiana, to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after doctors classified his injuries as “serious."
According to a news release from Indiana State Police, more arrests in connection to the fight might be forthcoming.
