The majority of Americans think President Donald Trump spends too much time on Twitter, according to a recent poll.
The Politico/Morning consult survey found that 69 percent of voters think Trump should tweet less, Time reported, and 53 percent of Republican voters agree that the president spends too much time on Twitter.
According to the poll, 59 percent of voters say Trump’s tweeting is a bad thing, and 57 percent believe it actually hurts his presidency. Almost half of voters (51 percent) said his tweets damage national security, and 53 percent said Trump’s tweets hurt America’s standing in the world.
Trump has taken to Twitter to defend his platform.

The survey polled 1,999 registered voters between June 1 to June 12, and it has a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points, Time reported.
