Calling all travelers! Today might be one of the best days to buy a plane ticket.
Southwest Airline’s 72-hour sale closes at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, and their cheap fares (tickets are as low as $49 for a one-way flight) have prompted competitors to drop their prices too, Fortune Magazine reported.
Rivals like American Airlines, Delta, and United have matched some of Southwest’s cheap prices.
Southwest flights out of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to Baltimore or Chicago are $49 for a one-way ticket.
There are some restrictions on Southwest’s sale; flights on Fridays and Saturdays are excluded.
