Data shows that many couples will make Valentine's Day extra special by putting a ring on it or tying the knot.

One study said six million couples in the U.S. will get engaged on Valentine's Day; another study said five times as many couples get married on Valentine's Day worldwide compared to any other date.

If you're thinking about getting married on Valentine's Day, here's one tip that could save you a chunk of change -- $29.50 to be exact.

Obtaining a marriage license in Kentucky is $35.50; in Hamilton County, marriage licenses cost $65.
