We want to know what you think.

Today, WCPO.com launches "What You Said," a chance for you to share your opinions on the hot topics of the day.

We'd like to know what you think about immigration, specifically DACA, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. That's the executive order that allows undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children to stay here, work and attend school. President Trump canceled the order, but gave Congress six months to pass a law.

In Greater Cincinnati, it's estimated that about 3,000 people are affected by DACA. Nationwide, it's about 800,000.

Here's a good backgrounder on it: Five DACA myths debunked

What should Congress do? What do you think of how the president handled the issue?

You can share your thoughts in a few different ways.

You can email Managing Editor for Opinion and Engagement David Holthaus at david.holthaus@wcpo.com.

The main thing is: tell us!

We'll publish the best, most interesting and provocative.

There's just some basic ground rules:

  • Keep it clean.
  • Keep it civil.
  • Keep it real.

That's about it. We'll publish What You Said later this week.
