HARPUSVILLE, NY -- Today could be the day: A giraffe at an upstate New York zoo is expected to give birth at any moment.
April, 15, is having her fourth calf at Animal Adventure Park in Harpusville, New York.
The baby will weigh about 150 pounds at birth and stand 6 feet tall. The average gestation period for a giraffe is about 15 months, according to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation.
Millions of people have tuned into the video feed, which was temporarily suspended earlier this week after complaints it contained nudity and sexually explicit material.
