A 33-year-old TV meteorologist in New Haven, Conn. was arrested at WTNH-TV studios Wednesday afternoon on child pornography charges, WVIT-TV reports.

Justin Goldstein is being accused of first-degree possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance, police told WVIT.

Goldstein posted a $200,000 bond and awaits a July 26 trial.

Goldstein has been under investigation since June as law enforcement found files of possible child pornography from seized computer equipment.

"We are deeply concerned by the allegations," Mark Higgins, General Manager of WTNH-TV, said in a statement. "Until the matter is resolved, Justin Goldstein is suspended from his duties at WTNH."

Goldstein's station biography has been removed from its webpage, and his Facebook page has been deleted.

He is a native of Staten Island and has worked at stations in Philadelphia, New York, Detroit, Toledo and Charleston.
