SUDBURY, Mass. (AP) -- Clark Griswold was spotted this weekend hauling an absurdly large Christmas tree through town atop his minivan.
OK, maybe not the father from National Lampoons, but this tree still looks a little full with lots of sap.
Police in this Massachusetts town are now asking residents to transport their Christmas trees more "responsibly" after pulling over this driver on U.S. Route 20 about 25 miles west of Boston. On Friday, they posted a picture from the officer's dashcam of a vehicle nearly swallowed whole by the perilously perched evergreen.
The Associated Press reports that it’s unclear whether the driver was cited since the police department did not immediately respond to a request for additional details on Monday.
