Charles Manson has left his estate, including money, rights to images and more to a pen pal, entertainment news website TMZ reports.

The infamous 1960s cult leader died Nov. 19, 2017 at age 83. He had been serving decades in the California Department of Corrections for his role in multiple murders committed by Manson Family cult followers.

According to TMZ, which says it talked to the pen pal directly but did not name him, Manson left a will and a hand-written note. The will states all of his belongings — including a music catalog with songs Manson wrote— are to be left to the man who has been writing him since the 1990s.

The man met Manson at the prison for the first time in 2002, the year the will was made. The pen pal is also to claim the body but must do so within 10 days of Manson's death, or the prison will cremate him, TMZ says.
