The Greater Cincinnati Water Works(GCWW) supplies more than 48 billion gallons ofwater a year through 3,000 miles of water mains to about 235,000 accounts. The GCWW is preparing to use ultraviolet light to help keep that water free from contamination and safe to drink. WVXU’s Ann Thompson talks with Greater Cincinnati Water Works Assistant Superintendent Bruce Whitteberry about the new process.
