Sheriff: 4 people arrested after shooting in Salem Township

SALEM TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Four people were arrested after a shooting in Salem Township Saturday night, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were dispatched to a home in Salem Township after 9 p.m. with reports of one person shot, a news release from the sheriff's office said. One victim was taken to Bethesda North Hospital with non-life threatening injuries related to the shooting.

Investigators said Larry Fields Jr., 38, shot the victim. Deputies arrested Fields, of Lebanon, on one count of felonious assault, the sheriff's office said. Michelle Hofmann, 33, of Blanchester, was also arrested and charged with obstructing justice and tampering with evidence in connection to the shooting.

Two other suspects at the residence were arrested on outstanding warrants.
