FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Police say a Hamilton man was killed and three injured in a rollover crash at about 2:43 a.m. Monday on Union Road just south of Franklin.
Eric A. Ruff, 26, was a passenger in a 2011 Mitsubushi Lancer being driven by Daniel A. Miller, 32, of Middletown. The vehicle failed to negotiate a right-hand curve in the 5900 block near its intersection with Shaker Road. The car drove off the left side of roadway, struck a guard rail, overturned and struck some trees coming to rest on its top in a ditch.
Ruff succumbed to his injuries sustained from the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office.
Anyone that may have witnessed the crash or has information about the crash is asked to call the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Lebanon Post at 513-932-4444. The crash still remains under investigation. Police said they believed alcohol was a factor in the crash.
