DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Warren County deputies investigating a bank robbery Friday afternoon found the suspected bank robber hiding in the trunk of the getaway car nearby.
Liston Watson, 33, of Cincinnati, robbed the Chase Bank in the 3900 block of I-22 in Deerfield Township Friday, deputies said.
An eyewitness saw the alleged bank robber flee the scene in an older model silver Lexus.
A deputy spotted the vehicle in the overflow lot of Performance Lexus. While investigators were processing the car for evidence, they found Watson hiding in the car’s trunk.
Deputies charged Watson with one count of aggravated robbery. He’s being held in Warren County Jail and is also wanted by the FBI in connection to other robberies, deputies said.
