CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Police have identified a man they said died from a gunshot wound sustained while allegedly attempting to rob a store on Glenway Avenue in East Price Hill.
Police said 19-year-old Dashawn Lamar Tye was shot by a store employee when he allegedly attempted to rob the business around 4:45 p.m. Thursday evening. The store employee was not hurt, officials said.
Tye was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries, police said.
